Project-based learning is at the heart of GRAD’s instructional approach to transforming Dean Tech, which will be a New Tech Network school in 2014. With the use of project-based curriculum, learning is contextual, creative, and shared. Students will collaborate on projects that require critical thinking and communication. By making learning relevant in this way, student engagement will reach new levels and achieve better educational outcomes. Students will work in groups to engage in problem-solving activities that have applications in the global community. Each group activity will be specifically structured to push students to collaborate with peers to apply knowledge and synthesize information from multiple sources.
